Multimat 2026
12th International Conference on Numerical Methods for Multi-Material Fluid Flow
September 7-11
Biarritz
The 12th International Conference on Numerical Methods for Multi-Material Fluid Flow (MultiMat 2026) will push forward the state-of-the-art in the field of compressible multi-phase and multi-material flow problems.
Researchers from academic and/or national institutions will focus their discussions on relevant numerical methods, including the analysis of such methods as well as the modeling of complex multi-material flows, which is essential for the investigation and development of new sources of energy, including inertial confinement fusion.
This conference follows the previous MultiMat conferences held in Breckenridge (CO, U.S.A, 2024), Zürich (Switzerland, 2022), Trento (Italy, 2019), Santa Fe (NM, USA, 2017), Würzburg (Germany, 2015), San Francisco (Ca, USA, 2013), Arcachon (France, 2011), Pavia (Italy, 2009), Prague (Czech Republic, 2007), Oxford (UK, 2005), Paris (France, 2002).
It will be held at the Casino Bellevue in Biarritz, France
from September the 7th to September the 11th, 2026.
